Target Thanksgiving hours 2024: What to know before shopping for deals

Target fans won’t be able to shop in-store on Thanksgiving this year.
The chain is closing its stores for Thanksgiving, similar to its competitors, like Walmart. Target is known for closing its stores on the holiday annually so their staff can celebrate with their families.
However, Target will reopen on Black Friday, Nov. 29, for the major sales event. Stores will have extended hours on Friday starting at 6 a.m.
